Problem with MS Outlook

I use GMail. I can't keep copies of my sent emails, unless I cc myself I get them in my "In Box". Thery were't saving on the on-line version either.

My PC expert had me do a few things which ended up losing my licence for the version I had. I therefore had no choice but to buy the subscription for MS Office. This, however, did not repair the problem. I can't take the PC to my guy as my mother just died & I'm the executor so I have a zillion emails in & out.

Somehow I managed to get them working through the browser, but even though on MS Outlook I clicked on "Send/Receive All", I still only have them from prior to 2023...

Any ideas?

Thanks. Yes, using MS 365 now. Finally got it working. Don't know what I did but it started working properly mon the web, then about 15 minutes later started working on Outlook...
